In 2020, Nike launched their Black Community Commitment, an initiative that would invest a combined $40M in local non-profit organizations that address racial inequality for Black Americans.
Hero was engaged by Nike’s Social Community and Impact Team to create the brand identity system for Black Community Commitment, a suite of creative and communication assets.
We built the brand identity system – a manifesto, brand narrative and design language – all communicating Nike’s commitment through consumer-facing messaging and imagery.
